I've taken some ribbing from my friends and family so I thought I'd take the chance to set the story straight. I am a Shaklee Top Model for 2008 which means I can now add "paid" model to my business card. I was chosen to be one of 12 top models at the annual Shaklee Global Convention based on my Cinch inch loss story.
My story in a nutshell is: from July 4 to Thanksgiving 2007 I lost 30 lbs using Cinch and have gone from a tight 36" to a comfortable 32" waist. I'm now at my high school weight and waist and have been there for a year. Actually I've lost a pound or two since then but who's counting. So on to the catwalk. I was on stage at the Shaklee Global Conference in New Orleans a few weeks ago which had 6,000 people in attendance. I was one of 12 top models, although technically there were 13 as one of the 12 was a couple. The lady in front of me lost 52 lbs. and the lady behind me lost 54 lbs. The couple lost 110 lbs. between them. What an inspiring group to be around. This stuff really works. I don't have the official pictures yet, but I'll post them when I get them.
Modeling....I never would have guessed it. It's a long way from the footbal field though I do have that same body again.
