Edguy will play at the "Loud Park Festival" on October 17th in Tokyo, Saitama Super Arena (Japan). This will be the first festival show in Japan for the band.

Who I'd like to meet:
BiographyBirthdate: September 2nd, 1974
Apart from living people music was and still is the most important thing in my life.
I've been playing the drums since I am 10 years old. Since that time I've been playing drums without a break.
I got my first live experiences as a member of a percussion group lead by my drum teacher – I was 12 years old. At that time I had my first contact with Heavy Metal music: The program "Hard 'n' heavy" on Tele 5. I stuck to hard rock music ever since.
In Marburg I found some other Metal-maniacs and founded my first band "Merciless Gnom". From the beginning we worked on our own songs and after 2 years we had enough material to play live. With the Gnoms I performed my first live performances in a metal band.
I also played in a big band at my school - I like to play different sorts of music.
In 1998 I got a call from Edguy's Tobi (Tobias Sammet, vocalist) – he told me that they were looking for a drummer. An audition date was scheduled and after that I was a member of Edguy.
Since that time I have been playing in one of Germany's most successful hard rock/Metal bands: "Edguy". We are touring the world – Europe, Asia, USA, Canada, South America, Australia, Russia etc. - and we're one of the first western rockbands who played in Israel and China.
For the future I will keep playing with the guys in Edguy and appear on other producions. Thank you for your support and interest!
